Police Equipment and Training

The Polson Police Foundation supports the Polson Police Department by helping provide equipment, specialized training, and other resources that may not be covered by the department’s regular operating budget.

Modern law enforcement requires officers to continually update their skills and have access to reliable equipment. Through donations, grants, sponsorships, and community fundraising, the Foundation has helped—and will continue to help—the department meet important needs identified by Polson’s police leadership.

How Requests Are Considered

Every request is considered based on its public-safety value, the needs of the department, and the Foundation’s available funding. The Foundation does not direct police operations. Its role is to raise and responsibly manage private funds that strengthen the department’s ability to serve Polson.
